I have been studying Italian with a teacher in Rome for several years. As a homework assignment my teacher asked me to write a story about one of my pets. I wrote my first story in Italian and was quite proud of it! Inspired by this modest success, I thought I might translate my piece into English.

In the end this story is somewhat different from the Italian original because English is my first language after all, and I took some liberties with the plot because, well, a talking cat.
